Energy shortages are a problem in the early "Eco" phase. Build power plants to cover heating and production, but keep the environmental impact low. Start with the space you have in your town to build power plants. For inhabited islands, offshore wind turbines (available from the third Eco stage) are an easy, space-saving and environment-friendly way to generate power. Solar power plants, built via the manager, need a lot of space but produce a great deal of energy.
