Unlocking Secret Hero Units
Unlock heroes by renaming a soldier.
Unlocking secret hero units in XCOM: Enemy Within.
At the Barracks, select a soldier, go to 'Customize' and change the name to one of the following. These heroes dramatically improve the unit's stats and have a unique nickname. Note: using them prevents achievements/trophies from being earned.
