Tips and Secrets
Max's missing toys, boss tactics, LaserKraftwerk upgrades and references.
1.Max's Missing Toys (side quest)
In Chapter 7, after getting the "Super Concrete" sample for Anya, Max returns to his room and sleeps. A crayon drawing by his bed shows four missing toys; find them all in the Kreisau Circle base and return to the drawing.
| Toy | Location |
|---|---|
| Robot | On the way out of the Kreisau Circle Hangar, heard near the hangar entrance |
| Telephone | In Caroline Becker's desk |
| Letter Blocks | In the hidden chamber behind the poster in Caroline's bedroom; crawl in, on the ground to the left |
| Fire Truck | Get the key from Wyatt/Fergus, open the locked door, look on the shelf right of the door |
2.Boss Tactics
- Kampfhunds: With either the 1946 or 1960 version, kill it before it's alerted with a knife throw or silenced pistol shot.
- London Monitor: Attack its eye first, then both the eye and the missile launchers. Once all launchers are destroyed, go underneath and shoot its engine; keep hitting both eye and engine.
- Supersoldaten: Against the 1960 version use energy weapons; normal bullets do minimal damage to armored parts. A fully charged LaserKraftwerk or the dual-wield Assault Rifle's under-slung rockets work well.
3.Weapon Upgrades
- Laser Cutter: After finding it in Chapter 4, it can be upgraded into a Laser Pistol. On the catwalks above the coal-moving vehicle, go down the left steps for the battery-like item.
- LaserKraftwerk upgrades: Obtained in the London Nautica. Strobe (blinding flash), Tesla (affects mechanical targets), Targeting Scope (multiple targets), Generator (regenerates battery; in the Da'at Yichud vault), Reflector (reflects off surfaces), Automatic (full-auto fire).
4.References
- Fallout 3: In Chapter 7, right of the Kreisau Circle Hangar entrance, the large red circular steam-covered door marked "101" references Vault 101 from Fallout 3.
