Tips, Companions and Bobbleheads

1.Companions (where to find them)

Dogmeat (after Vault 111), Codsworth (start), Piper (Diamond City), Nick Valentine (Vault 114), Paladin Danse (Cambridge Police Station), Deacon (Railroad HQ), Cait (Combat Zone), John Hancock & MacCready (Goodneighbor), Strong (Trinity Tower), Preston Garvey (Concord), Curie (Vault 81), X6-88 (Institute).

2.Bobbleheads (20 total, selection)

Collecting all grants the "They're Not Dolls" achievement; each gives a perk/stat boost.

3.Tips and Exploits

• Infinite XP: Join the Brotherhood of Steel, take the "Learning Curve" quest from Proctor Quinlan on the Prydwen; shoot the ally you're supposed to protect (on Very Easy, while hidden) — the quest ends and you get the reward. Repeat.
• Infinite caps: At a vendor, buy all of a type of ammo (don't confirm), then give one round back and sell the rest; one round remains that you can sell repeatedly for all the vendor's caps.
• Item duplication: With Dogmeat in Sanctuary, drop the "You're Special!" book, tell Dogmeat to pick it up but grab it quickly yourself — you keep it and Dogmeat drops a copy.
• Surviving fatal falls: Save just before hitting the ground, then load — you land safely.
