1.Insane Mode
Completing the game with any character opens a new path south of the Barbarian Boss map — Insane Mode (a harder version).
2.Character Unlocks (selection)

| Skeleton | Complete with the Red Knight |
| Barbarian | Complete King's Arena |
| Thief | Complete Thieves' Arena |
| Peasant | Complete Peasant's Arena |
| Iceskimo/Eskimo | Complete Icy Arena |
| Gray Knight | Defeat the Barbarian Boss |
| Fire Demon | Complete with the Orange Knight |
| Ninja | Complete with the Fire Demon |
| King | Defeat Pipistrello's Cave / Giant Bat on Insane |
| Necromancer | Complete Industrial Castle on Insane |
| Cultist | Complete Ice Castle on Insane |
| Open-Faced Gray Knight | Defeat Catfish on Insane |
3.Beating the Painter (Wizard's Castle)
His brush color tells what he'll paint next: Red=Big Monster, Purple=Octopus, Magenta=Clown, Light Pink=Unicorn, Orange=Carrot Clock, White=Elephant, Teal=Angry Person, Turquoise=Zombie, Light Orange=Cat, Light Purple=Nose-Snail.

| Horn | Defeat the Corn boss, receive it from a peasant |
| Boomerang | Equip the Cardinal Orb in Thief Forest; the cardinal finds it when the owl defecates from a tree |

5.Pet Unlocks (selection)
