Rune locations in Dishonored 2.

1.Mission 2: Edge of the World

Look inside the whale corpse at the start; buy one from the Black Market in town; a safe on the 3rd floor of the Overseer building (code 225); in the Outsider Shrine on a short building before the canal.

2.Mission 3: The Good Doctor

Near a table on the left in the dining hall; use Blink/Far Reach to reach a window on the 4th floor; destroy the bloody nest in the Recuperation Room; in the elevator basement (Blink/Far Reach); in the Outsider Shrine on the 4th-floor alley (use your heart).

3.Mission 4: The Clockwork Mansion

Damaged furniture behind the Carriage Station; from the Black Market; the Bloodfly building in Upper Aventa; in Jindosh's Lab after using the console (anatomy module); in the Outsider Shrine in a building left of the civilians in the heavily guarded area (3rd floor).

4.Mission 5: The Royal Conservatory

Black Market on the left of town; the 2nd floor of the Conservatory; on the roof of Ashworth's office (guarded by dogs); in the Archives (with a key from the basement); the Outsider Shrine atop the building (disable traps).

5.Mission 6: The Dust District

In a locker in the building behind you after meeting Captain Foster; on the 2nd-floor balcony of an old building; in the evidence room of the Overseer building (key from the Overseers); the Outsider Shrine in an office on the 3rd floor of the Hand Saloon.

6.Mission 7: Crack in the Slab

Atop the 2nd floor of the mansion; throw the valve wheel into the wall hole and switch to present, retrieve it and drain the water; on the right, a window with documents (kill workers in the past, climb to the broken window in the present).

7.Mission 8: The Grand Palace

In the bathroom of the windmill building (enter from the roof); in a storage area via the garden; in a cave behind rocks/boards on the right after the Black Market (Outsider Shrine).

8.Mission 9: Death to the Empress

The final rune can be bought from the Black Market.
